Deepavali Celebrated at Srimatam
Deepavali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with devotional fervor at Srimatam, Kanchipuram. His Holiness Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji was in the holy town of Kasi on the deepavali day, and performed Ganga Snaan on the occasion.
At Kanchipuram, His Holiness Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji blessed the devotees with Viswaroopa Darshan, followed by the special early morning deepavali puja to Sri Tripurasundari Sametha Sri Chandramouleeswara Swami. His Holiness performed special pujas at Pujyasri Mahaswamiji's Adhistana Brindavanam in Srimatam. In the evening, His Holiness visited Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple and took part in the Golden Chariot utsavam. His Holiness performed special puja and harati to Devi Kamakshi.
